Putting all in ETF
Single male at 35. Have a total of $1m. Don't own a house. Staying with parent.
I am planning to put everything into ETF and let it compound. And then buy a house at 50 years old.
I have done the simulation. It seems that investing in ETF is way better than owning a house. ETF return is around 10%. Hdb price appreciate is around 5% but I am excluding the rental yield.
I have a business which generate around $10k/month. I want to be in a position to retired immediately. In the event the business goes down one day, I will just depend on the pot of gold that I accumulated to retire.
Am I missing out anything?
