Why Simpsons ? Why ?

I just watched the latest horror show of the simpsons (season 36), couldn’t even finish it, it was so bad. What happened ? Is it because of Disney or something like that, cuz maybe they don’t want something too “strong” for their show ? Are we going to have a “baby-friendly” Simpsons ?
