Kumbh Mela 2026

Hi, I'm a foreigner into India rituals and festivals. I have been travelling to many parts of India independently.

For Kumbh Mela in 2025, there are a few important bath days as per the link https://stateexpressindia.com/kumbh-mela-2025-bathing-dates/. I have read quite a bit about the events but would appreciate any advice on the below:

1. I would like to see the best in Kumbh (esp the Sadhus and their rituals) but due to work schedule, I probably can visit on 19jan or 26feb? I have around 3 days

What are really the differences between important bath days vs ritual bath days?

1. I would need to leave Kumbh around 5pm on the 3rd day. If I want to experience the most, should I spend 3 days before the important bath day (including bath day itself)? For example : 17 to 19 Jan or 18 to 20 Jan is better? Since 26 Feb is the last day, I guess everyone is leaving on 27 Feb

2. Is there anything I shouldn't miss during the Kumbh?
