The only 2 Lenses needed for Travel Photography (!?)

Over the last few days, my thoughts have been obsessively devoted to two lenses: 24-70 f2.8 GM II & 70-200 f2.8 GMII. This might be the perfect combination for traveling and documenting - regardless of weight and price (!) These focal lengths cover everything from wide landscape shots to intimate details in the landscape and wildlife photography.

I would prefer to take ONLY the 70-200, I have simply fallen in love with this lens - apparently it is near perfect. But that would probably be too restrictive and I would probably regret it on location. I don't like the idea of experiencing a perfect moment and then having to change the lens. I know how that sounds and I'm sure some people can understand me, but ultimately my head is haunted by little compulsions and obsessions and I can't draw a line until I've found a satisfactory answer - even if there won't be THE ONE answer.

Maybe you can tell me about your thoughts and experiences and help me untangle this annoying knot in my head :(

Ah, and btw: Is the RX100 VII worth buying as a pocket camera (to have the same focal lenght always on the go)?

Have a great day lad <3
