Criminally Underused and/or Underutilized Characters

Ultimate Gohan (Z) is my main character for obvious reasons. His combos and flow are unmatched, and he could definitely benefit from a power buff incorporated into his moveset, similar to Ultimate Gohan SH. Additionally, a transformation cutscene with Elder Kai from Adult Base Gohan would be a great addition.

Janemba is an insane character for a 7-8 DP character (this is an estimate from the top of my head). His vanishing animation makes it difficult to maneuver around players unfamiliar with his timing, and his unblockable sword ki blast can be annoying. However, he is very powerful and effective for close-range melee combat.

Golden Frieza is a character that I don’t see used much. His ultimate move is pretty cool, and his punch pattern can be challenging to super counter (super fast, similar to Beast Gohan). Interestingly, each character in the series has their own METERED punch pattern (for the classically trained musicians on here lol) specifically 16th note triplets. His death beam is quite impressive, and his ki charge is relatively fast.

Tapion is a solid character for 4 DP. He has insane combos, and his sword supers can be incorporated into them, as well as his afterimage technique. However, his damage output could use a slight buff. Tapion is very smooth to use.
