Island trader no longer sells golden coconuts?

Hello!

I've opened, bought and gathered so many golden coconuts, but now all of a sudden I can't find them at the island trader anymore. Do you know if 1.6 made it so they are only available on certain days? Or do I need to crack one to activate it again? Or is it just removed from stock? :( I have saved so many coconuts to trader for golden ones so I really hope it comes back. I also feel like they are A LOT more rare than before in trees... I'm on the switch btw.
