WTF!? My 'parents' completely ignore their real daughter - and she says nothing!

What the actual hell?

I'm on my first NG+ playthrough. I used a mod to choose the vanilla universe that has a living version of me. Without thinking, I kept the Kid Stuff trait, even though the parent's in this universe aren't mine and their daughter is still alive.

But when the other me's parents came to the lodge, they ignored her, talked to me, had absolutely nothing to say about the two of us standing before them, and their daughter said nothing as well!

I mean... come on! Bethesda! Really!?! Reeeaallllyy!?!

What. The. Hell. I am dumbfounded beyond words at this... oversight. Words fail me. 0_o
