Thank God for BadTech
Not sure how others feel, but the BadTech Shuttle craft mod is absolutely a game changer. Was able to finally work out a build I’ve been wanting to do for ages and have many more coming. The thin angled deimos wings open up a world of opportunities and this was my dream to build.
I give you “Slave II” from the Star Wars Expanded Universe. In Starfield I call this adaptation the Voodoo HaulCraft a Deimos/Nova collaboration. The ship is a concept collab for a patrol craft designed for the UC but never made it past production after the war ended.
During the first few hours of NG+, The Starborn was able to snag an abandoned Voodoo on Skink in the Cheyenne System. The remaining skeletons on board were UC defects that left the UC years ago during the wars. Hiding out in “enemy” territory, they laid low in Freestar Collective Space. After running out of resources, the crew perished in a fire fight with the Trackers Alliance.
Years later the ship is now in the hands of The Starborn. For this NG+ the Starborn has awoken as a smuggler/bounty hunter. With a bounty on their own head, and an abundance faction drama, this ship was the perfect fit for a long playthrough. The ship contains all the hab space needed with a brig, armory, living quarters, workstations, battle stations, and access to the computer core.
