Absolutely loving Sunshine/Moonlight with the Steam Deck
Been seeing Moonlight / Sunshine used within gaming communities and decided set it up last night. Absolutely blown away how there is no lag and very solid (constant) streaming quality. Never “hated” Steams Remote Play but I’ve had some minor issues with it at times. Like the game crashing / closing on sleeping my SD.
Turn the Steam Deck on, run Moonlight, when finished I just sleep the SD. Repeat. Battery life is 6-7 hours too. Very nice bonus.
Tried it with games like Cyberpunk, Devil May Cry 5, Witcher 3, 40,000 Rogue Trader, 40,000 Darktide, Monster Hunter World, and a few rogue indie games. Been playing Monster Hunter Wilds lately and been having a blast.
We have a kiddo on the way so pretty stoked these two softwares exist. Wanted to just give a shout out and high recommendation for those who haven’t tried it out.
