The energy has completely shifted from last week, even on modest gains and low volume. It seems that the shorts are once again having difficulty finding ammo to short with, and are having to focus their energies elsewhere. The massive number of DRS posts tells me that Apes are continuing to buy, and are furiously getting shares out of the clutches of the DTCC. With today marking the T+35 date after an enormous number of FTDs, I would not be surprised to see some fireworks today.

Of course, there are many signals that the broader market conditions are worsening. As energy prices rise rapidly, we've seen the euro drop below the dollar in value. The Fed appears likely to continue hiking interest rates, while many large institutions are taking a defensive stance against recession. Wherever the road ahead leads, it seems highly likely to be incredibly stressful on the most vulnerable among us.
