What is your silly little conspiracy theory when it comes to teaching and education? Mine is that PD was invented for people who went into teaching because they wanted a captive audience. When their dream of a room full of admirers hanging on their every word didn’t come true and they found they couldn’t hack it as a teacher, they became admins and forced the adults to listen to them instead.
