New to car wraps, is this normal?
I recently had my Model X wrapped with matte PPF, and since I've never had a car wrapped before, I don't really know what to expect. The vendor told me that several of the air and moisture bubbles would dry out and disappear over the course of about two weeks. It's only been one week since I pitched up the car from him, so I haven't contacted the vendor yet about these, but I was curious if anyone who has more experience could offer their insight.
I went on a 6 day road trip up and down the east coast after picking the car up, which maybe wasn't the best call. We did drive through some weather occasionally, but I kept the car parked in a parking garage when I wasn't driving long distances. I just want to make sure I'm managing my expectations, or if I should show these to the vendor.
I made an appointment to bring the car in for a 30 day checkup on April 1st, where the guy said they would take a look at the wrap to see how it settled and make any corrections or touch ups if need be.
For context, I paid $5000 for the full wrap and $500 to get the windows tinted. No complaints about the windows so far.
Thank you all.
