[The Witcher 3] Should I platinum The Witcher 3?

I recently started my first run of this game, I had never seen anything about it, I just heard a lot of people say that it is one of the best games ever and I decided to finally try it out.

I'm almost 30 hours into it and I'm in love, it's the kind of game that drives me crazy, I don't know why I didn't play it before. Is this game platinum fun? I don't want to platinum it just to have it on my display case, I want to know if it's enjoyable. If so, why?
