Predictions about the City Update & thoughts

Predictions: The city update is coming but I believe the most likely time is probably after this year! As you guys have seen, the devs have been adding more and more events packed into this year esp (i.e. the valentines day event and upcoming fantasy event) as well as adding extra furniture to some events such as the lunar new year event with a whole new set of furniture (Cathay). The devs are quite clearly fleshing out the game by packing events closer to each other in order to make the game feel more full throughout the year. Thats why I think they will release the city update after 2025 comes to an end so as to let players fully experience the game and finish all quests there are to finish too before moving on to the city!!

Issue with the subreddit: Everywhere on this reddit page you can see people expressing impatience over when the city update is coming which is somewhat understandable with it having been teased in several different ways (i.e. the penthouse key appearing in the mail box for earlier users) but getting withdrawn by the devs in order to perfect it due to feelings on disatisfaction. Personally I think this although a little frustrating IS PERFECTLY FINE. Its like with Spiderverse movies. Better to have a delay than an unsatisfactory product. Although knowing a rough estimate on its release would be nice im sure the devs are working super hard on the game.
