[WTS] Closet Cleanout! Simply Light Designs Tarp, Hammock, and Borah Bivvy Dimmah Mod
Hello people of r/ULgeartrade! I'm here doing a closet cleanout. Please let me know if you have any questions on anything I am selling. The photos are dated to August 22nd, I have simply been to busy to make a post since then. I hope that is okay, but I can take new photos if needed.
I am willing to sell the Hammock, Pillow and suspension for $120, if you pay shipping and paypal fees. If you buy everything (keep in mind the hammock barely fits under the tarp, not enough that I would trust it in a storm) I will let it all go for 300, and you pay shipping/ PayPal fees.

This is a great starter hammock to get into hammock backpacking! Selling this one because I modified my setup and I found I wasn't using this one enough to justify the space it took up. It includes the mosquito defender bug net, which I found to be effective when I used this on an AT thru hike. The condition is great! I have probably used this one for a cumulative 25 nights at most?
I am selling this with the suspension, and ideally with the pillow. If you buy all 3 together, I will let it go for 140 if you pay shipping and the PayPal fees.
Simply Light Design Suspension 92g $130 with hammock
Honestly, I forgot to put these in the album with the hammock and am too lazy to redo it. Just your typical 6 foot polyester tree straps. They are in almost new condition.
Simply Light Designs Pillow, 129g, $20
I could just never find a way to make this comfortable for me with the hammock, but this would be a fantastic backpacking pillow, possibly with the bivvy.
Simply Light Designs 6x8 Silpoly Tarp, $60
This tarp is a little harder to get rid of, but I cannot justify it taking up space any longer. The reason I don't use it is because I upgraded to a larger size from the same manufacturer.
I had it custom made with linelocs on all the corners and edges. In the photos, I attached it to the ridgeline with a lark's head knot, but you could attach lines to it and avoid using a ridgeline altogether. All the line locs except for one I prestaged with a tarred bank line that has a bowline on the end, so it is all set up to use for stakes. This tarp will perfectly fit the bivvy.
Borah Gear Dimma bivvy, 182g $120
This is a really interesting piece of kit. I bought this from a redditor a few years ago, and have not used it much since then. I hadprobably added between 5-7 nights to it on my thru hike before I switched to the above hammock. He used it only for one night, so it has almost no use on it.
The guy who owned it before me was the first owner, and kept it dry and in a dark place. I have done the same. The bivvy is in great condition, cosmetically and functionally. There are no tears or holes and no patches. He ordered it in a size regular/regular. The Dimma mod replaces some of the argon with noseeum mesh that helps the breathability. The bottom is Dynemma, also in great condition.
