How do drivers in other states do it?
Got this stacked order tonight for $20. The estimated time was 34 minutes. Picked up the first order without a problem and went to get the second. The host said it will take 10 minutes. I contacted support and they offered $3 extra for the delay. Fine. Came back 10 minutes later. The host said they are packing it up, should be ready in a minute. Forget it, it took another 20 minutes!
Even though I will get the prop 22 adjustments for my active time, I believe I would have made more money on other orders during my wasted time. But, damn. How drivers are doing it in other states while restaurants are misleading them with the wait time?
You get $3 extra for waiting over 10 minutes, that too if you complete the order. But what happens when the restaurant takes 30 minutes instead of 10? Do you get compensated at all for your wasted time?
