low fps on 10th gen i5
i have a liquid cooled i5-10500 paired with 3200mhz 16gb ram (8x2) all on an msi b560m pro-e running on windows 11 pro and im getting barely 70 fps on potato settings and on 1280x720p. why is this a thing? i see older systems run this game much higher than mine does. does getting a dedicated gpu fix this problem? people have been saying valorant is a cpu intensive game so i dont quite get why my pc is under performing.. my average temp is 50-60c while playing valorant. and if getting a dedicated card for this is the key, would the gtx 1660 super do me good?
