PASSED!!!!! WGU D427 TIPS

This is what worked for me.

1.) Take D426 before this class. This is a BIG advantage.

2.) Doing labs 2, 7 & 8 daily and checking my work by looking at the videos for each lab. Here is a link to the lab videos if you don't have it.

3.) Practice Test 1 & 2.

4.) Joins Power Point

5.) Do the challenge questions at the end of chapters 1 & 2. It just helps.

6.) KEEP DOING THE LABS! They're a little boring at 1st, but it becomes fun once you get it right by memory.

There were 2 join questions on my exam. (One multiple choice and 1 actual join query.)

Some questions were from D426 so if you haven't taken this course, then study chapters 1 & 2 for sure!

I think I had 7 to 8 multiple choice questions, but every exam is different. I don't think I had that many on the 1st attempt.

There were 2 or 3 aggregate function query questions too so brush up on those. The Power Point slide that I have definitely helped with those. I didn't read those until about 2 hours before the exam. I'm surprised I remembered those. lol

The OA was similar to the PA in my case. Just take it slow, narrow the multiple choice questions down to the best answer. Eliminate the two answers that you know are not correct.

Good luck everyone! Salute!
