Fail proof Walleye setup

Alright I’m trying everything I can to catch a walleye but I’m having zero luck. I live in Colorado and am just itching to meet Walter. So what is your bomb proof never fail walleye bait, lure, whatever?

Forgot to add that I don’t have a boat so I’m shore fishing.
