Why can’t Belinda call the police herself?

There has got to be some type of anonymous tip line or email address linked in the articles she found saying Greg/Gary is wanted for questioning in Tanya’s death. She doesn’t need the hotel manager to call for her does she? Why can’t she just use the internet to submit the tip herself?
