To flip another post, what’s a business in Wigan that you would use again and recommend to others?

This could be a restaurant, contractor, service etc

For me there’s three

1) Pooles Domestics at Platt bridge. We’ve had a couple of items from them, the delivery charges are very reasonable and for a small fee they took the old appliance

2) The Handyman Store, Platt Bridge. You can give the most obscure description of what you’re doing and need and they will know exactly what you need. If they don’t have it they direct you to where you need to go

3) the bike shop at platt bridge. Every time I’ve taken my bike there for a check he’s never let me pay, the only time he’s accepted money is when I bought a new wheel for my old bike. It was £20 and they fitted it for me for free
