This show is doing a great job of “rewatchability”
That’s like the whole reason we all love the books right? Each reread you pick up on new tiny details sprinkled in. That’s what this entire sub is devoted to. Oo hey I just noticed this. Could this refer to this?!
The show is Doing the same thing. Or at least I am making these great connections that were unintentional but wonderful with the foresight we have.
So I am on my what ever number rewatch. It’s my perfect escape world. I listen to the books yearly and have done so since I found them. And watch the show in my usual rotation of binge worthy shows.
Well. We know in the books that the wheel spins out potential dragons before the real dragon reborn claims himself. Mazrim Taim and Logaine ( my absolute favorite throughout the series ) were false dragons leading to the true dragon.
Well in the new episodes a piece of information I hadn’t considered showed up. I knew it but it didn’t hit til I started my rewatch. “There hasn’t been a dream walker in hundreds of years” or something along those lines.
The little girl May talks to at the little farm has a doll of Brigitte. “She protects me when everyone is asleep”. I think the little girl was a dreamer. The pattern spinning out an aes sedai that could dream because I. The books one of the girls that they meet during the trip to tar valon ends up there. This little girl has met Brigitte in TAR. And kinda foreshadows or hints at Brigitte helping the wondergirls and so on.
Or I’m way off base but there are deliberate things they did in the first few season in order to have some fanservice. This might be more than just a doll of Brigitte.
