Finale guess (Includes show spoilers as well)
So we know that there’s a big change in the finale that reviewers were unsure about how it would land. I have 2 different theories on how it could go down.
- Moraine is converted to the shadow instead of going through the red doorframe with Lanfear.
- keeps her actress around and will give her some sort of arc when she finally gets brought back to the light. Gets converted by 8 channelers/myrdraal(since 8 is the show number and not 13)
- 2.Asmodean shows up at Alcair Dal. He and Rand fight similar to the book. But instead of ending up in Rhuidean like in the book, since the male Choedan Kal isn’t in Rhuidean anymore, they end up in Tear by way of gateway since Callandor has also taken on part of the male Choedan Kal’s place and Belal isn’t in the show. They Fight over Callandor. Asmodean is killed in the climax and Rand takes Callandor. The Aiel come through the gateway and take the city. Rand now controls Tear.
- Reasons it fits with reviewers feeling very unsure about it -
it’s a light speed jump forward/catchup of certain parts of the plot. Will be seen as the show going way too fast.
Asmodean a fan favorite will be dead.
Very little setup to Tear.
