Recommend my friend a tank

My friend just got into WoT and he wants to research 2 lines at the same time. He decided to go for jgpz e100 since it seemed fun to him. He likes sneaky tanks (and Jgpz e100). I tried to recommend him heavies, but he didn't want any. So basically TD's and Meds, but since i don't know a lot about wot either i am asking here. Any recommedations are welcome
