S2 Finale: Why are these the only characters framed?

Was doing a rewatch and realized very specific characters are framed in this final moment. The survivors + 2 unconfirmed (Mari and Melissa)

I don’t know but seems intentional. You can see the other girls huddled in a circle behind them as they zoom out. The inclusion of Melissa in this crew also seems to have more meaning now that we know what happens after this.
