How did y'all get going with nightly routines?

I am newly diagnosed with adhd, but this is a long term problem for me - I just cannot get it together with a regular nightly bedtime routine.

I used to have one in my 30s, and I know it helps. I know full well what it is I SHOULD be doing for nightly self care, but I had a bunch of health problems from 2020 to 2023ish, and I lost the habit completely. I'm doing better now in terms of energy, so I'm not quite as drag-ass at the end of the day, but it's still like pulling teeth just to get myself to eat dinner take my nightly meds, much less do skincare and such. All I want to do is lay down and read. And I'm single and WFH so there's no external driver 😭

So I'm looking for inspiration here. What did y'all do to get out of the funk and back to the nightly self-care ritual? Is there a way to do this stuff outside of the bathroom maybe to make it more tolerable? My bathroom is part of the problem, the sink is literally 8" deep, it's a hassle.
