Will AI replace animators?

I'm sure I want to become an animator. But since Al has been developing very fast lately (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, etc.), I began to doubt my choice. The fact that you can now create pictures in seconds with a set of words, make "animation" with Al, generate videos from nothing, and this all includes both 2D and 3D animations…is alarming. Yes, of course, everything is pretty raw and bad right now, but progress will definitely not stand still, and Al will o improve, perhaps displacing animators?

I'm scared that I might make the wrong choice with future profession, and even though I love and want to work as an animator with all my heart, I'm scared that some machine might replace me in future.

Other professions don't appeal to me at all. However, I don't want to take any chances either: I've heard that working as an animator is unstable as it is, and then there's this.

So please share your opinion, how do you think, will AI replace aminators soon? Is it worth to become animator, or it's better to change my choice for something more stable?
