Are people’s expectations for the character unrealistic?

I have seen so many discussions, many arguments and debates and the only conclusion I have come to is that people’s expectations for the characters are unrealistic in the context of the story and what is happening around them or to them.

I think when people are having these conversations, they forget how emotional the characters are, the fact that a feeling like sadness or rage is coursing through their whole body and if they have the means of doing something, they will and they won’t think about it twice.

It’s also worth it to note that these conversations are heavily biased. It mostly happens to Caitlyn and Vi, but the same sentiment isn’t held towards other characters.

Now, I’m not saying to excuse what they’ve done but I think there’s a certain understanding that needs to be present when talking about their actions instead of making completely demonizing them.
