Apply for AER assistance online
Soldiers can now apply online for Army Emergency Relief assistance. We rolled the feature out today, and it allows Soldiers, retired Soldiers and Army Families to expedite the request process and, if approved, receive funds via direct deposit, Zelle or PayPal from anywhere in the world. Previously, Soldiers more than 50 miles from an Army installation had to request AER assistance through the American Red Cross or the nearest military aid society office. The new feature eliminates that step.
