Should I buy a 2012 vw Passat 2.5L?

Hello all! I’m a first time driver and I’m looking for a car. I found this really nice vw priced at 5.3k with 137k miles(def gonna buy it at a lower price). It’s has a good service history but I’m mainly wanting to know what to look for when buying it. Just wanna make sure this car will last me since I’m going off to college soon.
