Lots of random pain and very high pain while eating since fillings 3 weeks ago
It's been 3 weeks since I had 4 cavities filled (top and bottom mullers on each side) and I'm still having pain randomly appear for about an hour then eventually go away. When I eat anything that isn't soft, it makes all 4 teeth hurt for about 5-10 minutes.
Doesn't hurt to brush, but my dentist said I just have to suck it up & that it heals at different speeds for everybody, but the pain hasn't gone down at all in 3 weeks. My Mother, Brother, and Grandfather all told me they never had any pain after a filling and it was pretty much gone within 4 hours after the filling.
Should I contact my dentist, go to a different one, or wait? I tried telling her and she just said I had an improper bite, but after she fixed that the pain went from an 8 to about a 4, but it hasn't gone down at all since then, even any cold drink or just the air from breathing in with my mouth makes them hurt. I'm not sure why they would be doing this, she said they weren't very bad at all and were just "ridge cavities"
