Is it okay to transition for (almost) purely sexual reasons?

Hello, I’m on the younger side of things (above drinking age though if that helps), and while not new to these feelings I am new to actually taking the initiative to transition.

I was wondering if it’s okay to want to transition based almost purely off of sexual need. In my day to day life I can tolerate being a boy, but when it comes to sex, fantasying, and masturbation, I feel hollow, and can’t stand myself in my current form. I can’t do anything but picture myself as a woman, and long to feel what’s it’s like to do said things as a woman.

Is this okay? Is this within the realm of normality for someone who is trans?

Also sorry if this delves into some rather uncomfortable subjects for some, I’m not too good about putting these kinds of things into words.
