how long does it take social security to update gender after appointment?

Had my appointment yesterday at 11am. Today, the bans for changing your gender federally were implemented. Trying to call social security to confirm the change but it’s a 5 hour wait and I’m at work. Does anyone know if I should be worried that it’ll get denied or if it processes as soon as they put it in?
