realistically as of right now - how would they prevent you from renewing your passport with the correct gender already on it?

I’ve never had a passport that didn’t match my gender. My birth certificate was changed years ago, my license is changed and my social is now changed. Realistically - would they even catch this at least in this point of everything if you pass?
