Has anyone attended a Christian university as an atheist?

My wife is currently attending a Christian university to get her degree. She is loosly Christian herself, but I am an atheist and she has no problem with that. I ask because the discussion posts for her homework are very religious based and wondered if anyone has attended one of these as an atheist and how it was received. Did they grade you fairly, or did you fail because you don't believe the same thing they do?
