What's a trait of autism you thought you didn't have but found out later you do?
For me there are several, but the most recent discovery is that I do in fact have comfort objects. I was sure I didn't have any, I even experimented with bringing different things with me when I left the house after I was first diagnosed. But around a week ago, when I started realising how much I actually struggle with transitions, I also noticed that I've been bringing my switch with me to work or to bed with no intention of using it. Just having it nearby, "just in case", makes me feel so much safer 😅
