170K AMEX Points, No Trips Planned – Need Help Before I Close My Account!

Hey everyone, I could really use some advice. I have about 170,000 AMEX Platinum points, and I’m considering closing the account, so I need to figure out what to do with them. The thing is, redeeming them for actual trips isn’t an option for me at the moment. I’m open to transferring them to airlines or hotels, or maybe even cashing them out, but honestly, I know nothing about how this works and I’m worried about making a bad move and wasting the points I've earned over time.

If anyone has suggestions on how to transfer or use these points in a way that holds good value (without forcing me to book flights or hotels right now), I’d really appreciate it! Thanks!

Options I am considering now are Hilton (1000 Amex points = 2600 Hilton points) or Apple gift card. But I’m pretty sure they’re better options than them not aware of.
