Backpacking in 2022?!?

Hi everyone, sorry if this has been asked before but…

I’ve always had a dream to backpack and travel around the world, I’ve wanted to act on this dream for the past couple years, but had put it on hold due to covid. Finally I’m sick of waiting and I feel the world is getting back to normal, so I’ve decided to quit my job and start travelling in Europe starting June of this year

My questions are 1. Am I being impatient and should wait another year before starting this once in a life time trip (I don’t want to travel around in empty hostels, bars, activities etc.) 2. If you think now is a good time to go, which places would you recommend to be most hospitable and welcoming in a post covid world for a 24 year old backpacker? (Europe, South & Central America, south east Asia?) 3. Also just any general advice and tips would be so appreciated
