Chronic Back Pain Beneath Right Shoulder Blade When Laying Down
Hey guys. I've had this chronic back pain beneath my right shoulder blade for about 5 years now. It's only getting worse and it's starting to give me insomnia. It's impossible to sleep on my back because of it and I can't even lay on a couch for more than 5 minutes until it starts to hurt.
The interesting thing though is that if I lay on a flat surface like concrete, grass, or even the floor then it's okay and the pain doesn't feel as heavy. Even if I'm standing then i'm usually ok. It only hurts if I lay down on a bed or a couch.
Why is this and what could possibly be causing it?
