Boycott America
Starting today, America's dictator is putting a 25% tariff on goods from Canada and Mexico. There's a growing movement in Canada to boycott American products and buy Canadian, or anything else other than American. I wanted to put together a list of companies that sell products similar to the ones you find at Bath & Body Works that are not American for any Canadians, or anyone who wants to support Canada. If you have any to add, comment below and I'll add them to the list!
Lush - a UK company and all of the products sold in North America are made in Canada. They make fresh handmade bodycare products like shower gels, body lotions, and the best bath bombs.
The Body Shop - a UK company that sells bodycare products that are more natural. The Canadian website is down but there are stores across Canada and America. Famous for their body butters.
L'Occitane - high end body and skincare company from France with many stores in North America that sells skincare, hair, and bath products, many with natural ingredients
Milk Jar - popular candle company. I like the hygge scent!
Mala the Brand - a candle company from Vancouver that makes eco-friendly candles with an eclectic variety of scents including "cereal". They do a lot of fun collaborations including with Sesame Street and Barney.
Rocky Mountain Soap Co. - a company from the Rocky Mountains in Alberta that makes natural, handmade bodycare products. Their bath bombs are really nice and use essential oils.
Cordova Candle Co. - a small candle company from Victoria that uses soy wax and has a variety of nice scents. My favorite are the coffee and earl grey tea ones.
The famous maple syrup candle. Made in quebec, you can find it in a lot of stores and on a lot of websites across Canada. I have it burning right now actually. It smells delicious.
Serendipity - soy candles with a wide variety of scents. They also have wax melts. Strong and smell nice! I like the coffee one.
Bathorium - bath products such as bath bombs, bubble baths, and bath soaks
Indigo Chapters makes their own line of candles that are really nice
Similar to Rocky Mountain Soap Co, Salt Spring Soapworks is a natural handmade bodycare company from BC
Green Beaver - anther natural company that makes bodycare products including deoderant
Saje - natural wellness company that makes essential oils, soaps, lotions, and shower steamers
Tub Loves - natural skincare
Barefoot Venus - bodycare
