How do I get a Surly!?!?

Hey hey guys. As per the title... I am on a hunt for my first every surly! I ideally need this bike within the next month or two, so I have some time to work on it for my tour in a few months time. I've spent the last few weeks, maybe even a month searching for one, but I'm really strugging to get anywhere...

Im based in the UK, have a budget of about £1800 for a finished bike.

Im mainly looking for second hand bikes in good shape. There are a few on ebay, leboncoin, facebook marketplace etc, but they have had much better days and are still listed at over £1000.

I'm spending most of my free time just searching for one but really getting no where. I'm after one of these models for a mid to heavy tour spanning over 5000km accross Europe: My two favourties are the Disc Trucker and Long Haul Trucker. A close second would be the Cross - Check or maybe even the Pack Rat? Bridge Club would be third choice. Midnight Club is also in the running but honestly I havent seen one drop below £2000, so I've kind of written that off.

So I feel like my budget is pretty decent, as well as I dont feel like im being overly picky with models, as Im open to a few different ones. Does anyone have any suggestions?

For example. A few bikes I've considered but not gone for, are as below... am I being too picky?

NEW, Disc Trucker. Pretty much Half price and in my size. I thought this looked too go to be true when I first saw it. But... stock components are really, not great? I feel like I'd buy this and then want to change out literally everything other than the frame.

EBAY, Cross Check. I like this bike, I just think it's set up too much for road/racing. The gearing range and rims dont look touring ready and feel like id be changing out most things to get it ready.

EBAY, LHT. Honestly think this one is just a little overly beaten up by rust. Mustve been left out in the elements.

Anyway you kind of get the picture. Please dont take this as me being negative/moaning, more just curious if I should be looking elsewhere...?

I also am being slightly picky. This is for my first big tour and want this bike to be somewhat special to me! Im sure you guys understand.

Many thanks :)
