Any advice on how to progress my workouts?
So basically I've been working out consistently with my bodyweight for 1,5 year (male, 25 yo). I've made some great progress but recently I've hit a plateau but I wish to progress further and most of all build more muscle. I'm 180cm tall and weigh 78kg.
I workout four times a week with two different workout routines.
The first routine: -l-sit (twice, 10-17 seconds) -pike push ups 4x12 -weighed dips on rings (5kg) 3x10 -archer push ups 3x12 per arm -weighed lunges (2 dumbbells each 15kg) 3x10 per leg -plank for 1,5 minutes
The second routine: -frog stand (four times, as long as I can, which is around 10 seconds max) -chin ups 4x8 (or more if I manage) -parallel rows with rings 3x10 -dumbbell curls (15kg per arm) 3x12 -dead lifts (30kg) 3x12
I take about 3 minute breaks between sets (or longer if needed) and try to perform exercises slowly and controlled. Also, when I have time and feel like it, I do some stretching, mainly my hamstrings.
My workouts take quite some time, and I'd like to reduce it to around 1 hour while being able to build more muscle mass. I'd be very grateful if you could give me some advice on how I can improve. Thanks in advance.
