I capture the castle- Dodie Smith

I recently read a Vox article about how the above book has a cult following. I really like that idea. It is a comfort book of mine - I re-read it whenever I am at a rough patch or maybe a crossroads in my life.

So,if anyone else is part of the 'cult following', please add your take on it below. I am particularly interested in what you think might happen 'next', after the events in the book.

I first read it as a teenager and I am now in my mid-30's. Predictably,my interpretations of the relationships and events have changed a lot over the years. I love that the older I get,the more I can understand those half-described subtle interactions and complicated feelings. For me, it's one of those books that gains more with every re-read.
