Changing screens when turning tv on after a long time of disuse
I hope I post this correctly, but I'm having issue with my 55-inch Sony TV (KD-55X8500D) that has not been used for at least two years. The TV broke, the screen suddenly was only showing black screen with audio on and after leaving it with the official repair service, they said it's a problem with the LED screen and it was pricey to change, so I didn't and bought a new one (not Sony). Now, years later, I tried turning it on and it does turn on, with colors on the screen (not black only like before the repair), but it keeps on playing a set of changing screens that looks kinda like a demo video. I pressed buttons on the remote but doesn't seem to change anything except that it works for turning it on and off. Is my TV completely broken or what?
