5090 and ultrawide monitor 2k-4k

Hey guys,

I just wanted to know your thoughts about getting a 5090 for gaming with ultrawide (21:9) monitor 2k (1440p).

unfortunately every benchmark done from reputable youtubers left us on the side, we, the gamers that we play with ultrawide monitors. and sometimes can be overwhelming to see those benchmarks and really feel that kinda do not apply to us because ultrawide means 33%+ extra of the GPU to get the work done. so that benchmarks numbers are not real for us.

the thumb of rule of every gamer using ultrawide monitor is: the recommened GPU to play in your desire resolution, you need to get the next tier of that gpu.

So basically if the benchmark says that the 5080 is perfect for 2k (example, please dont come to argue about it. just to put it in simple terms) we the ultrawide gamers then need to get (in this example) the next tier, the 5090 to comfy play 2k resolution in a ultrawide monitor.

said this, now i would like to know your thoughts about it and an 5090 for ultrawide gaming (21:9) in 2k (of course AAA games included) would be a right choice. yes why? no then why?

and if still also in the future thinking that 5090 still is capable of 4k ultrawide monitors as well. however am planning to stick on the 2k.
