Why are so many people so emotional about LMIA points removal?

The LMIA points removal lobby is like a cult, like bunch of NPCs radicalized into believing that all LMIA holders are evil scammers and that Marc Miller is the ringleader. Somehow all they can think about is when point would be removed, they would magically get their PR.

You can read so many posts accusing Marc Miller about corruption and how he's paid off by the consultants. I'll let you guess the intelligence level of these posters.

Firstly, Marc Miller never promised permanently removing the points. He wanted to temporarily remove them until the clean things up. And he's done a fantastic job of cleaning things up. GCMS is an antiquated government built and run system so small changes can take a long time to implement. Not sure how you can blame him.

Secondly, I can't imagine being so obsessed about this like teenage infatuation. If MM thinks Canada needs LMIA holders or cooks, it needs LMIA holders or cooks. You may hold a different view, but its not useful when you are not the one making decisions. It would be far more useful to upskill to find employer willing to sponsor LMIA or becoming a cook than complaining on Reddit.
