Transferring Fleas

hi yall, last night i discovered that my eight month old kitten had fleas. im home from college currently and going between two houses, and in sure she got them from one (im currently not there and she won’t be going back there). she gets her topical treatment every month so this is a shocker to me. i’m already starting on the washing sheets and vacuuming regimen and picking up other treatment later.

my one worry is bringing her back up to school. i go back in less than two weeks and there’s no way that i can leave her here. she’ll either continue to get infested and/or she won’t be taken care of properly. im wondering what the safest way is to go about this. i still have time to get things under control, but im obviously worried about bringing things up to school with me.
