Fleas in Car

hi everyone, i posted a couple of days ago about a flea problem i was having. i thank everyone for the advice they gave, and i have a few more questions.

my mom has fleas in her house currently, i am not staying with her. she is supposed to drive me and my cat back to college on tuesday. i’m really worried about fleas in her car or on her clothes getting into my stuff.

i was already planning on keeping my stuff in garbage bags and spraying her car with adam’s house spray for the next few days. i’m just really worried about stuff being her on clothes as well. additionally my cat has a seresto collar on and has been taking capstar.

i do live in the northeastern us and its cold (below 35°F) but i know that that also doesn’t matter much.

any advice is greatly appreciated. thank you so much in advanced!
