My Tuxedo Cat Has Been Missing for a Month—I’m Heartbroken
I have two cats: a tuxedo cat and an orange cat. Both are incredibly cute and smart—it sometimes feels like they understand me like a human would. But now, my tuxedo cat has been gone for a month, and I’m losing hope.
I’ve searched the neighbourhood, asked people, and looked everywhere, but there’s no sign of him. It’s devastating not knowing where he is or if he’s safe.
My orange cat once disappeared for five days. When he finally came back, his rear leg was crippled, with what looked like bite marks. I had to take him to the vet for antibiotic injections, and for days, he slept a lot while healing. Thankfully, he recovered, but ever since then, he’s been afraid to go outside.
The tuxedo cat, on the other hand, was always the cautious one. He was an indoor cat, afraid of cars even from a distance. He would just watch as the orange cat went out every night, almost as if he knew that going outside was dangerous. But then, one night, he did something unexpected—he left. And he never came back.
I don’t understand why he went out that night. Maybe he was curious, maybe something lured him outside. But I can’t stop thinking about him and hoping he’s okay. I just want him to come home.
