TOMT: Phsylocke gains weight? A story from long ago... help

Many decades ago I remember reading a storyline that has been driving me crazy to know what happened:

I think it might have been the Psylocke character. She was perhaps kidnaped or something like that and disappeared for a long time and when she came back she was extremly overweight. I remember that the character was female and she had black hair. I never finished the storyline/comic. I can't remember if this was in the Xmen, New Mutants, Xfactor etc. I would just like to know how and why she became overweight and what happened after. Like I said, this was probably decades ago.
